We started farming for our own table. We wanted to know where our food came from. Now, we take pride in that many of our meals come entirely from our own land, and we want to share this close relationship with our food. A 14 Week CSA for $435. Pickups begin June 29, and are every Thursday thereafter. Items include vegetables, herbs and occasionally fruit. May include a variety of greens, zucchini, beans. tomatoes, peppers, celery, parsley, carrots, onions, garlic, scapes, cucumbers, rhubarb, melons, and more. Whole or 1/2 pigs available. Pasture raised. $6.25 per pound hanging weight for whole or $6.50 per pound for hanging weight for 1/2. Hanging weights are expected to be 250# for a whole pig. Price includes USDA processing and smoking of hams and bacon. $125 deposit for a whole and $75 for a half. Deposit due by May 1st, 2023 with pickup at the farm in December. Whole roaster chickens with pickup dates available throughout the summer. $4.00 per pound with deposit of $5 per chicken by May 1, 2023 and pickup the weekend of processing. We began raising meat goats before we had ever tried goat meat. Thankfully, we weren’t disappointed. Slow cooked roasts in the winter months, and goat burgers on the grill during the summer are our favorites. Prices are between $12 and $14 per pound, or $10 per pound hanging weight for a whole goat USDA processed to your liking.
