We started farming for our own table. We wanted to know where our food came from. Now, we take pride in that many of our meals come entirely from our own land, and we want to share this close relationship with our food. A 14 Week CSA for $490 (That’s only $32 per week). Pickups are weekly beginning in July. Each week we will offer a variety of farm fresh veggies, fruits and herbs. Each share will include 8-12 different garden goodies based on the time of the season. Early greens, strawberries, beans, cherry tomatoes, beets, carrots, onions, tomatoes, herbs, and pie pumpkins are just a few of the items that may be included. An additional protein share including eggs, chicken, pork and goat meat is available for an additional $300 for the season. Fill your freezer with Pork. Whole or 1/2 pig shares are available spring and fall. Price is by hanging weight, $5.75 per pound for a whole or $6.00 per pound for a half. Whole roaster chickens with pickup dates available throughout the summer. $4.50 per pound at the Farm or $4.25 per pound for advanced orders of 5 or more birds and pickup the weekend of processing. We began raising meat goats before we had ever tried goat meat. Thankfully, we weren’t disappointed. Slow cooked roasts in the winter months, and goat burgers on the grill during the summer are our favorites. Prices are between $7and $9 per pound.
